The Community Service Committee is devoted to promoting health and wellness through a variety of service projects. Through biweekly volunteer events such as health fairs, homeless care packages, beach cleanups, and clothing/food donation drives, our goal is to learn more about our community and form new relationships along the way.

The Student Affairs Committee provides its members with the resources necessary to succeed as pre-health students at UCLA! We serve the AMSA community by providing opportunities for mentorship and personalized support from our upperclassmen students. A quarterly list of clinical opportunities on campus and in the greater Los Angeles area is created by Student Affairs and assessable to all AMSA members.

Global Health

AMSA’s Global Health Committee serves diverse communities and works to introduce UCLA students to global issues and medicine. Our mission is to understand and address the causes of disease and global health inequities from a global level with the intention of making our impact transcend borders; and collaborate with partners to develop and sustain quality health systems, programs, and policies. We aim to introduce undergraduate students to the field of global health and work together to create a positive global impact.
